I'm Not Scared of Spiders!!!

Yeah, I'm really not scared of spiders. This big guy made his web right outside our side door while we were gone for just a couple of hours. It's truly amazing how fast they work! But you'll never see mice as my subjects! lol I hate mice!

Okay, the sunsets are breathtaking this time of the year!! I literally drop everything I'm doing, jump in my SUV and race around our country roads almost every night for the last two weeks!! The title of this picture is, "Going Back Into Time". I absolutely love this picture and adore the car! We bought this for our "soon" to be Marine son for his 18th birthday.

The United States Marine Corps!

28 More days to go!!!!!!!!! And off to San Diego, CA we go to see our son TONY graduate from the United States Marine Corps. Note the "United States" in that title. These boys are OUR boys. Dedicating their lives to protect us. I am so tired of hearing, "Peace! Peace! Let's get out of Iraq!" Do you really think this is the end of war? Sorry folks, it's only going to get worse. And that's not what I say, but what the Word of God says. You see, there is a spiritual war going on. Good against Evil. And I for one want a President in office that sees the immediate threat of Islam and what they stand for (McCain). Not one that openly supports the Muslims and wants a One World Faith (Obama). No, times are not going to get better. And our son's life is in the hands of the Lord. You see, I trust God no matter what. It's easy to say you support something when you have nothing to lose. It really means something when you support a cause and you have everything to lose! And yes, God does not like war. It is man's way. But God allows it and He also uses it to glorify Himself. Because in the end, He will be glorified and all will be well. :) Will our son go overseas to fight? More than likely. And as he's over there, I'll be on my knees fighting in the only way I know how.............by praying for my boy. Because that's truly how we become victorious.

This is the new Farmer's Market in Elkhart in the evening..........felt like Christmas in August!!! It was really beautiful.............so ya, I do drive around aimlessly taking photos, I must, it is what I love to do ` :)

My wonderful neighbors.............and their beautiful family! Not only did they let me document their special week together, but they fed me also! It was wonderful!!! Thanks Ernie and Mary for being such wonderful neighbors! We'll never be able to move!

Somebody got their ears pierced!!!!!

She's been waiting a long time for this moment!!!! I can't help myself...............pretty colors! Cleaning the first ear! Awww......it's cold! Okay, she survived the first ear and now on to the next one! She didn't even flinch! That's my girl...................now I get to buy her pretty earrings!!! That is the whole reason for doing this. lol

We went to Grandma's house to visit and there were just too many cool things sitting around for me not to grab my camera and start clicking away!!!

Our Son Tony...............

Okay, it's Monday morning and I have a million things to do but............I saw the mailman coming down the road. You may say, yeah, so what? Well it's the best time of the day for me......it could mean another letter from our son Tony who is in San Diego, CA right now. You see, he's becoming a Marine. And he will make a fine one. We are so proud of him and so proud that he loves this country like his father and I do and that he wants to help defend it! I think so many people have forgotten WHY we're still in Iraq. And WHY we'll probably be in Iran soon. War doesn't stop based on who's residing in the White House. It's not partial. War will not stop until the Prince of Peace returns. :) No matter how much I try, 9-11 will forever be in my heart and be the reason WHY we must do what we do. You see, after going to Israel this year and talking with our Muslim Arab tour guide, its just reconfirmed my previous beliefs that all Muslims have to support one another. They are all brothers. And Christianity is a direct enemy to the true Islamic faith. I'm not really worried about offending anyone. Jesus wasn't worried about offending anyone. :) Right is right and wrong is wrong. So yes, I race to the mailbox almost everyday! And yes, we got 3 letters from our Tony today! Horray!!! He's working hard and has sacrificed a lot, to be the man that he needs to be.......to protect you and me. So pray for our troops and lets support our young men and women who lay down their lives for us.

My baby is 9 years old today!

He got some DS games but we had him convinced he'd have to use his sister's DS to play them... He was really shocked to see we had gotten him his own DS........kids, they'll believe anything! lol He sorta knew by the shape what this was.............. A much awaited for Spongebob skateboard............what more could you possibly ask for? Jonny and his favorite Aunt Beth..................they've loved each other from the beginning. I'm chicken liver when she's around. lol Jonny had a great birthday! And next year all my children will officially be double digits..................oh my!
