My, How Time Flys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a sneak peek at the invitations that we will be sending out today!!!! Now, if you don't get one, that doesn't mean you are not invited! If I have invited you on my Facebook account, then you better come!!! lol Come join us to see our new Marine!!! Okay, we need your prayers! See the Crucible on this calendar???? Well, that's the big deal for these guys. It's 54 hours of constant movement and obstacle courses, only 4 hours of sleep, only 2 meals (MRE's) and on the last day, they have to hike 10 miles and then climb the "Reaper" which is a giant mountain thingy. So it starts next Tuesday and then on Thursday, he will have passed his right of way and be a TRUE Marine. :) Yea!!! So this actually makes them or breaks them. If they don't pass, they will not be a Marine. Even after all that time in there. :( But I'm not worried, our Tony will be just fine!!!! Miss the boy............................counting the days!!!!!!!! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! I love this kid. :) 13 more days until I get to see him and hug him. :)

Okay, I'm being serious about this......does anybody know what kind of bee this is??? I've been seeing them all summer long and they just don't look like normal bees. Or am I just getting old and these guys have been around forever? Help! But if you look close, there's a small string like thing keeping it's thorax connected to it's abdomen. And yes, I'm easily amazed. lol

I'm Not Scared of Spiders!!!

Yeah, I'm really not scared of spiders. This big guy made his web right outside our side door while we were gone for just a couple of hours. It's truly amazing how fast they work! But you'll never see mice as my subjects! lol I hate mice!

Okay, the sunsets are breathtaking this time of the year!! I literally drop everything I'm doing, jump in my SUV and race around our country roads almost every night for the last two weeks!! The title of this picture is, "Going Back Into Time". I absolutely love this picture and adore the car! We bought this for our "soon" to be Marine son for his 18th birthday.

The United States Marine Corps!

28 More days to go!!!!!!!!! And off to San Diego, CA we go to see our son TONY graduate from the United States Marine Corps. Note the "United States" in that title. These boys are OUR boys. Dedicating their lives to protect us. I am so tired of hearing, "Peace! Peace! Let's get out of Iraq!" Do you really think this is the end of war? Sorry folks, it's only going to get worse. And that's not what I say, but what the Word of God says. You see, there is a spiritual war going on. Good against Evil. And I for one want a President in office that sees the immediate threat of Islam and what they stand for (McCain). Not one that openly supports the Muslims and wants a One World Faith (Obama). No, times are not going to get better. And our son's life is in the hands of the Lord. You see, I trust God no matter what. It's easy to say you support something when you have nothing to lose. It really means something when you support a cause and you have everything to lose! And yes, God does not like war. It is man's way. But God allows it and He also uses it to glorify Himself. Because in the end, He will be glorified and all will be well. :) Will our son go overseas to fight? More than likely. And as he's over there, I'll be on my knees fighting in the only way I know how.............by praying for my boy. Because that's truly how we become victorious.

This is the new Farmer's Market in Elkhart in the evening..........felt like Christmas in August!!! It was really beautiful.............so ya, I do drive around aimlessly taking photos, I must, it is what I love to do ` :)

My wonderful neighbors.............and their beautiful family! Not only did they let me document their special week together, but they fed me also! It was wonderful!!! Thanks Ernie and Mary for being such wonderful neighbors! We'll never be able to move!
